One of the current documents giving us the working life in recovery and revival after the War of Independence with its appearance in Bursa is the Newspaper of Meslek published in İstanbul. The Newspaper of Meslek, with the news it gives from this city almost every week, has strictly followed the working life in Bursa. The working conditions and problems of construction tradesmen, cocoon producers, weavers and barbers; the solution to development of such production branches as fishery and sericulture have been expressed by evaluating them in terms of the conditions of those days.
