A Threat to Security in the Balkans: Greece-Macedonia Dispute
Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the dispute between Greece and Republic of Macedonia. According to this one of the most important barriers to ensure stability and security in the Balkans is dispute between Greece and Republic of Macedonia. Dispute between parties that originates from differences in the case of name, history and identity has come into existence in the aftermath of declaration of independence of Rebublic of Macedonia on September 17, 1995. The worst scenario in this case is transition of problem to armed conflict and outbreak of Third Balkan War.
