A research in Modena Archive yielded 7 pages document about the circumciation feast of Mehmet III’s son. This document, dated 1582 describes the feast in detail and bear the title of "Detailed report of Sultan Mehmed III’s son Circumciation Feast in At Meydanı". This document provides us very valuable information not only about the custom of ordinary people but also about the elite’s and the porte’s. For example mystic groups also joined to to this feast in addition to the non muslis living Galata and Pera. I added the original account for further research.
