Abstract

As a writer worked at a university, Halide Edib Adıvar points out the problems of the university students and the people work there. The students studying abroad with many difficulties, can’t find an appropriate occupation related with the subject they have studied. Carefully choosing students who will be sent to abroad and their education in the light of our country’s needs is very important. In this article, Halide Edib’s ideas about financial problems of university members, students not working on their own subjects, the importance of the education on abroad and the scholarships that will be given to the students, were worked out

Halide Edib Adıvar ve Üniversite Meselesi

Abstract

Halide Edib Adıvar, üniversitede görev almış bir yazar olarak eserlerinde, üniversite eğitimi almış gençlerin ve üniversitede çalışan öğretim üyelerinin sorunlarına dikkat çekmektedir. Çeşitli zorluklarla yurt dışında eğitim alan gençler, yurda döndüklerinde eğitim aldıkları alana uygun bir iş bulamamaktadırlar. Yurt dışına gönderilecek öğrencilerin titizlikle seçilmesi ve ülkemizin ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda eğitim almaları çok önemlidir. Bu çalışmada, Halide Edib’in üniversite personelinin maddi sorunlarına, gençlerin eğitim aldıkları sahalarda çalışamamalarına, yurt dışı eğitimin önemine ve öğrencilere verilecek burslara dair görüşleri incelenmiştir
