In this article, by going through the experiments of Cemal Şakar, information about his understanding of art and its ideological side is presented, as well as the contributions of his intellectual acquis to the literary public and more generally to the "Islamic artist" environment in which he is included. The conclusions reached are that he interprets art with his own ideological plane and seeks harmony between his ideas and the art he puts forward. He also draws attention to the dilemmas of modern art. It invites Muslim intellectuals and artists to be partners in the solutions they seek, on issues they consider disturbing by modern art.
