Abstract
Khusrau Dihlavi is an important person who has brought himself up in scientific and literary circles, since his grandfather was one of the scholars and virtuous personalities of the period. During his time, it was essential to establish a common language between the Turks who escaped from the Mongols and the local people. Having a command of Arabic, Persian, Hindi and Turkish languages, Khusrau paved the way for the birth of the Urdu language and played an undeniable role for this language. Khusrau, who was under the auspices of the Turkish sultans, received great acclaim with his ghazals and qasidas in the science and literature assemblies he attended. He composed some of his poems and made important contributions to Indian music thanks to his musical knowledge. The aim of this study is to reveal the contributions of Khusrau, who is a literary personality, to Indian culture and literature.
