Türk İmalat Endüstrilerinde Yoğunlaşma Oranlarının Belirleyenleri: Bir Dinamik Panel Veri Analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada 66 dört haneli Türk imalat endüstrisi için 1993–1999 dönemine ait veriler kullanılarak yoğunlaşmanın belirleyenleri araştırılmaktadır. Bu amaçla, bir uzun dönem durağan durum yoğunlaşma modeli bir de yoğunlaşmanın uzun dönem denge değerine kısmi uyarlanmasını içeren bir dinamik model oluşturulmuş ve tahmin edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuçları, minimum etkin ölçek, mutlak sermaye gereksinimi, Ar-Ge yoğunluğu, gecikmeli karlılık, ithalat rekabeti ve gecikmeli yoğunlaşma değişkenlerini yoğunlaşmanın en önemli belirleyenleri olarak ortaya koymuştur. Yıllık uyarlanma hızı tahmini Türk ekonomisinin, gelişmiş Avrupa ve A.B.D ekonomilerine göre piyasa yapısında daha hızlı bir uyarlanma yaşadığını göstermektedir.
