Year 2019, Volume: 27 Issue: 40, 185 - 196, 30.04.2019

Abstract

The shift of global production to Asian countries and the unrestrained movement of capital has entered a new stage, especially with the rise of the Chinese economy, and the debate about the transformation of globalization has also begun in the framework of the Belt and Road Project, announced in 2013. In this study, the transformation of globalization was discussed, and the role of China in the framework of the the Belt and Road Project, which was described as the building stone of this transformation, was examined. A debate has arisen over how the global center of gravity has shifted towards Eurasia and the US global hegemony has been declining.

Year 2019, Volume: 27 Issue: 40, 185 - 196, 30.04.2019
