According to J. Campbell, a hero goes out of the ordinary world and goes to a mysterious area where s/he can encounter extraordinary differences. In there s/he meets fabulous forces. The hero gains a definite victory over these forces and s/he returns from this mysterious and challenging adventure with a power which provides her/him superiority over her/his opponents. After this journey, the hero is no longer the same person. The obstacles and difficulties which s/he overcame change her/his perception of life.
In this study, Emren the son Begil narrative has been analyzed by dividing into sections in the context of J. Campbell’s work. The obstacles which s/he can overcame despite of his/her age, status and inexperience reveals her/his change in this journey.
