About

Söylem is a peer-reviewed, scholarly, electronically published journal indexed by international field indexes and ULAKBİM TR Dizin, which features original scientific studies and book reviews in the fields of linguistics, philosophy of language, modern literature studies, literary theory, comparative literature, literary criticism, semiotics, narratology, translation studies, philosophy of literature, and sociology of literature.

From its founding until the end of 2020, Söylem Filoloji Dergisi (Söylem Journal of Philology) published two issues per year, in June and December. From 2021 through the end of 2025, it published three issues per year, in April, August, and December. Starting January 1, 2026, Söylem will be published four times a year — in March, June, September, and December — except for special issues.
