Abstract

Migration not only afects society and individuals socially, culturally, and physically but it also has a signiicant efect on health care and health variables. Migration process has an impact on physical and mental health, especially of women’s, who are in high risk group. Ensuring women to beneit health services in equal and full terms and in the highest standards is one of the basic conditions of women’s human rights. However, during migration, because of lack of social support, changes in cultural environment and adaptation to a new life, migrant mothers encounter increasing health risks. As a result, women should be supported on adapting to the new culture in terms of language, nutrition and behavior ater migration.
