1986-2023 Yılları Arasında Tıbbi Hataların Web of Science Veri Tabanına Dayalı Bibliyometrik Ağ Analizi

Abstract

Sağlık hizmet kalitesinin en önemli belirleyicilerinden biri hasta güvenliğidir. Tıbbi hatalar gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkelerde hastaneye yatış maliyetlerini ve tıbbi harcamaları artırarak sağlık hizmet kalitesinin düşmesine neden olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada sağlık kurumlarında “Tıbbi Hata (Medical Error)” ve “Hasta Güvenliği (Patient Safety)” kavramlarının ilişkili olduğu Web of Science (WoS) Science Citation Index (SCI), Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) ve Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) kategorilerinde yer alan çalışmaların bibliyometrik analizi yapılmıştır. Bu kapsamdaki çalışmaların 2005 yılından itibaren popülaritesinin sistematik bir şekilde arttığı, 2021 yılında en üst seviyeye ulaştığı görülmüştür. Carayon ve arkadaşları (2006) tarafından yapılan “Work system design for patient safety: the SEIPS model” başlıklı çalışmanın 1647 atıf sayısı ile birinci sırada yer almaktadır. En fazla yayına sahip ülke Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’dir (725 yayın-%30). En fazla yayın yapan kurumlar arasında Harvard Üniversitesi ve Johns Hopkins Üniversitesi yer almaktadır. “Journal of Patient Safety” 123 yayın ile ilk sıradadır. Ortak kurum ağ analizinde en yüksek bağlantı gücüne sahip ve ağ merkezinde yer alan kurumlar Manchester Üniversitesi, Harvard Üniversitesi ve John Hopkins Üniversitesi’dir. İlgili çalışmalarda en fazla kullanılan anahtar kelimeler sırasıyla; patient safety (1174), patient safety culture (390), adverse events (107), medical errors (100), quality improvement (91)’dır. Hasta güvenliği, sağlık hizmeti sunum sürecinde hasta bakım kalitesinin iyileştirilmesini ve tıbbi hataların önlenmesini hedefler. Bu çalışmayla, hasta güvenliği ve tıbbi hatalar konusunda ileri çalışmalar yapmak isteyen araştırmacılar için rehber niteliği taşıyacak bir kaynak ortaya konulması hedeflenmiştir.
