Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı bedensel engellilerin aile, toplumsal yaşamları ve eğitimlerine ilişkin sorunlarının yazılı olduğu panel metninin Beden Eğitimi Spor Yüksekokulu öğrencilerince okunmasının bedensel engelli bireylere yönelik genel tutumlarını değiştirmede etkinliğini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmaya 55 Beden Eğitimi Spor Bölümü 1 ve 2. sınıf öğrencileri katılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Yetersizlikten Etkilenmiş Kişilere Yönelik Tutum (YEKYT) Ölçeği - O Formu ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Bağımlı gruplarda t testi sonuçlarına göre öğrencilerin, bedensel engelli bireylere yönelik tutumlarına ilişkin ön ve son test ölçümlerindeki değişim anlamlı fark göstermiştir [t (54)=9,14, p =.001]. Beden Eğitimi Spor Yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin panel metnini okuması ile bedensel engelli bireye yönelik genel tutumlarını olumlu yönde etkileyebileceği görülmüştür

CHANGING COLLEGE STUDENT PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER’S ATTITUDES TOWARDS INDIVIDUALS WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITY BY KNOWLEDGE

Abstract

Purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of before and after reading panel text related problem of family, society and education on attitudes of the college student physical education teachers towards individual with physical. Total 55 first and second class college student physical education teachers participated in the study. Attitude Toward Disabled Person- O Form scale was used to determine the attitudes of the before and after reading panel text. A paired t test revealed significant difference attitude towards individual with physical disabilities the between measurements at the pre and post test [t (54)=9,14, p= .001]. Knowledge approach affects positive attitude change of the college of sport teachers towards individual with physical disability
