Abstract

Abstract

Self-efficacy is defined as; one’s belief of that she could cope with the difficulties of life, and positive expectations with the awareness of physical capacity and handicaps. Sports or physical activity is one of the important determinants of the better quality of life. It is important to understand the positive effects of physical exercise and sport activities as well as to abolish handicaps for the improvement of self-efficacy. In this article, the importance of self-efficacy in sports and physical activity is discussed with the evaluation of current literature
