Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi aims to contribute to the national and international literature by publishing original and scientific articles, decision reviews, legislation reviews, book reviews and translations in the field of law.

Our journal is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published electronically twice a year, in July and December (EISSN: 2667-6559) and accepts articles in the field of law. In addition to articles in the fields of public law and private law, the journal also publishes decision reviews, legislative reviews, book reviews and translations. The publication language of the journal is Turkish, English or German.

Articles submitted to Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi must meet the following formal requirements in order to be accepted.

1. Manuscript Submission Procedure
Prepared manuscripts should be submitted to the journal editorial office by uploading them to the system via DergiPark. All stages, including referee review, will be carried out through the DergiPark system.
Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi does not accept articles from outside the DergiPark system.

2. Required Fields in the Article
The author's name should be written as "FULL NAME" under the main title, right justified, together with the academic title.
Authors who wish to have their works published should obtain an "ORCID" number and write it in the footnote using the * sign together with their personal information (Name-Surname, Academic or Professional Title, E-mail Address). The "ORCID" number can be obtained from https://orcid.org/.
The title of the article in Turkish and foreign languages, an abstract of at least 100 and at most 150 words in Turkish and foreign languages, and five keywords (Keywords) should be included at the beginning of the article.
References should be included at the end of the study.

3. Page Structure
It should be 2 cm from the top, bottom and sides.
Articles prepared in this way should not exceed 50 pages.

4. Text Articles
It should be written in ''Palatino Linotype'' character, 11 pt, single line spacing, the first line should be a paragraph with a special 1 cm value, and the spaces between paragraphs should be aligned on both sides, with 3 nk before and after.
Title 1 format should only be used for the main title of the manuscript.

5. Footnotes
It should be written in the same font as the article, 9 pt, single line spacing, 0.7 hanging, 3 nk space after paragraph.
Footnotes should be given automatically and at the bottom of each page, and footnotes should be written as follows: IN BOOKS; Author's Surname, Name, Book Title, (if any) Edition number, (if any) Translator (or Editor) Surname, Name, Place of publication, year and page; IN ARTICLES; Author's Surname, Name, "Article Name" (in quotation marks), Publication Name, Volume, Issue, year and page; In the second and subsequent references to the same work, a short format can be used as Author's surname and page.

6. The article must not have been published or submitted for publication anywhere before.

7. No royalties will be paid to the authors. Authors agree that Selçuk University Vocational School of Justice has all publication rights on the published manuscripts, including publishing in any format.

Applications that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted.

ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF AUTHORS
The author(s) submitting manuscripts to Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi are expected to comply with the following ethical responsibilities:
- The articles submitted to the journal must be original works in the field of law.
- The author(s) should correctly cite the sources they utilize during the writing of the article in accordance with ethical principles.
- It should be stated that the articles submitted to the journal have not been submitted to another journal and the Copyright Transfer Form should be filled in.
- People who do not contribute to the article should not be listed as authors. It should not be proposed to change the author responsibilities (such as adding authors, changing the order of authors, removing authors, etc.) of a study whose evaluation process has started.
- The author(s) should not submit an article that they have published or submitted for publication elsewhere or submit more than one article at the same time to Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi.
- Any person(s) who have a conflict of interest/conflict of interest regarding the article applied for publication should be notified to the editors and the reason should be explained.
- The author(s) may be requested to provide information or raw data about their articles within the framework of the evaluation processes, in such a case, the author(s) should be ready to present the expected data and information to the editorial board, editorial and scientific board.
- The author(s) should contact the editor to inform, correct, or retract an error in the manuscript that is under review, in early view, or published electronically.
- The author(s) must document that they have obtained the rights to use the data used in their article, the permissions related to the research-research, or the consent of the participants on whom they conducted research.
- The author(s) should indicate that they have received ethics committee approval for research that requires data collection with quantitative or qualitative methods such as experiments, questionnaires, scales, interviews, observations, focus group studies that require ethics committee approval; the name of the ethics committee, the date and number of the decision should be indicated on the first-last page of the candidate article and in the method section, and the document showing the ethics committee decision should be uploaded to the system with the application of the article. In addition, information on the receipt of the informed consent form in case presentations should be included in the article.
- The author(s) should provide evidence that they pay attention to ethical principles during the data collection process (such as obtaining permission to use other people's documents such as scales, questionnaires, photographs). It should be stated in the articles that research and publication ethics and copyright regulations for intellectual and artistic works are complied with. If the research was conducted on human and animal subjects, it should be reported that the research was conducted in accordance with international declarations, guidelines, etc.

ETHICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF EDITORS
The editors of Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi are expected to comply with the following ethical responsibilities:

General duties and responsibilities
- Editors are responsible for the healthy execution of the publication process of all studies submitted for publication in the journal. In this context, as an Editor, he/she should make decisions independently and in the public interest.
- Editors strive to continuously improve the journal and increase the quality of publication.
- Editors ensure the determination and implementation of journal policies such as publication, blind review, evaluation process, ethical principles.
- Editors strive to meet the information needs of authors, reviewers and readers about the journal and the publication process and prepare informative Guidelines.
- The editors ensure that the publication processes of the journal are carried out in accordance with the publication policies and guidelines, and inform those involved in the process about the developments in publication policies.
- Editors review the complaints submitted to the Journal and make the necessary explanations.
- Protection of personal data: Editors ensure the protection of personal data in the reviewed articles; they protect the personal data of authors, reviewers and readers.
- Protection of human and animal rights: Editors are responsible for ensuring that human and animal rights are protected in the reviewed manuscripts. They care about documenting the explicit consent of the study participants, and reject the article in the absence of ethics committee approval for the participants of the article and their permission in experimental research.
- Protection of intellectual property rights: Editors are responsible for protecting the intellectual property rights of all published articles and defending the rights of the journal and the author(s) in case of possible violations. In addition, editors are obliged to take the necessary measures to ensure that the contents of all published articles do not violate the intellectual property rights of other publications and to conduct originality checks in this context.
- Taking precautions against possible misconduct and malpractice: Editors are obliged to take precautions against possible misconduct and malpractice. When there are complaints about this situation, they conduct an objective investigation and share the relevant findings. Duties and responsibilities towards authors
- The editor should continuously update the publication and writing guidelines and the sample template to give authors a clear idea of what is expected of them.
- Unless there are serious problems, the submitted manuscript should be taken to the preliminary evaluation stage. In this process, if it is decided that the manuscript needs to be revised in terms of grammar, punctuation and/or spelling rules (margins, proper referencing, etc.), the authors should be informed about this and given time to make the necessary corrections.
- Unless there are serious problems with the manuscript, positive referee suggestions should not be ignored.
- Unless there are serious problems with the manuscript, decisions made by previous editors should not be changed.
- Keep authors' identity information confidential in the context of blind reviewing.
- The manuscript evaluation process should be published and editors should prevent deviations that may occur in the defined processes.
- Authors should be notified and returned in an explanatory and informative manner.
- Editors should take measures to prevent unscientific and unethical behaviors such as plagiarism and citation mongering.
- When making any decision (publication, rejection, etc.), editors take into account the original value of the articles, contribution to the field, validity and reliability of the research method, clarity of expression, and the purpose and scope of the journal. The editors cannot take into account the race, ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, thoughts and beliefs of the authors on any grounds.
- The editors apply the journal's editorial policies of blind refereeing and review process. They ensure that each article is evaluated impartially and in due time.
- The editor is required to support the freedom of expression of the authors.
- Editors should evaluate the manuscripts submitted for publication in the journal in terms of journal writing rules.
- The editors take into account consistent criticism of the articles published in the journal and give the author(s) of the criticized articles the right to reply.
Duties and responsibilities towards referees
- Identify reviewers in accordance with the subject of the study.
- Provide the information and guidelines that reviewers will need during the evaluation phase.
- Monitor whether there is a conflict of interest or community of interest between authors and reviewers.
- Keep the identity of the reviewers confidential in the context of blind reviewing.
- Encourage reviewers to evaluate the manuscript in an impartial, scientific and objective manner.
- Determine practices and policies to improve the performance of reviewers.
- Editors should seek to ensure that the pool of reviewers is broad and constantly updated.
- They prevent unscientific and unscientific evaluations that do not comply with the rules of academic courtesy.
Duties and responsibilities towards the Editorial Board
- Identify new editorial board members who can contribute and are of appropriate quality.
- The editorial board should send for evaluation studies that are appropriate to the expertise of the members of the editorial board.
- Interact regularly with the editorial board.
- Ensure that the editorial board members evaluate the studies impartially and independently.

Duties and responsibilities towards the publisher
- The relationship between the publisher and the editors is based on the principle of independence; all decisions taken by the editors are independent of the publisher and other persons and organizations.

Duties and responsibilities towards readers
Editors should clearly indicate the type of articles published in the journal (research article, decision review, etc.) and whether they are peer-reviewed. Editors are obliged to take reader feedback into account and provide explanatory information. Ensure the integrity of the academic publication. They ensure that errors, inconsistencies or misdirections in articles are corrected.

ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF REFEREES
All articles submitted to Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi are evaluated through a double blind review process. Double blind reviewing means that the authors are kept confidential from the referees and the referees are kept confidential from the authors in order to ensure an unbiased, objective and independent evaluation process. Articles are sent to the referees for evaluation through the DergiPark system. The referees are required to fill out a form containing their decisions on the contribution of the article to the field of law and whether the article is publishable or not, and the reasons for these decisions.
The referees are expected to comply with the following ethical responsibilities for the manuscripts submitted to the Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi:
- Reviewers should only agree to review articles related to their area of expertise.
- A reviewer who receives an invitation to review a manuscript should inform the editor as soon as possible whether or not he/she will be able to review the manuscript.
- Reviewers are obliged to evaluate the manuscripts with impartiality and confidentiality.
- Reviewers may not share or use the information contained in a work they are assigned to review with others before publication without the express permission of the author. They may only use the final versions of the manuscripts they review only after publication.
- When reviewers notice any conflict of interest, they should inform the editor and refuse to review the relevant article.
- The style used by the referees in the "Referee Evaluation Form" should be polite, respectful and scientific. Reviewers should avoid derogatory personal comments including hostility, slander and insult. When referees are found to have made such unscientific comments, they may be contacted by the editors to revise and correct their comments.
- Reviewers are required to indicate their decision on whether the manuscript is publishable or not and the reasons for their decision in the Reviewer Evaluation Form.
- Reviewers are required to complete their evaluations within the time allotted to them.
- Reviewers should inform the editors if they notice any similarities with any previously published work or information.

ETHICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PUBLISHER
Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi is published by Selçuk University. The ethical responsibilities of the publisher are as follows:
- The publisher accepts that the decision-maker and the refereeing process in the process of publishing an article in Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi is the responsibility of the editor.
- The publisher provides open, electronic and free access to the journal on the journal's web page.
- Journal editors are appointed by the Director of Selçuk University Vocational School of Justice on behalf of the publisher.
- The journal protects the ownership and copyright of each article published in the journal and undertakes the obligation to keep a record of each published copy.

PUBLICATION POLICIES
Policies Regarding the Work Evaluation Process
Article Submission Stage
1. Prepared manuscripts should be submitted to the journal editorial office by uploading them to the system via "DERGİPARK". All stages, including referee review, are carried out through the "DERGİPARK" system.
2. The work submitted for publication in the journal must not have been published or submitted for publication anywhere before.
3. A copyright transfer form must be filled out and sent along with the work submitted for publication in the journal. Within this framework, no royalties will be paid to the authors. Authors agree that all publishing rights and financial rights, including all kinds of formats, on the published works belong to Selçuk University Vocational School of Justice.
Article Preliminary Review Stage
4. All works submitted for publication in the journal are examined by the "iThenticate" plagiarism program. As a result of this review, the plagiarism/similarity rate can be maximum 25%. Works with a plagiarism/similarity rate above 25% are rejected directly by the editor.
5. The works submitted for publication in the journal are first subjected to preliminary evaluation by the editors in terms of the above-mentioned conditions. At the preliminary evaluation stage, the authors must complete the corrections requested by the editor within 15 days. Otherwise, the editor has the right to reject the work without contacting the author.
Referee Evaluation Phase
6. The manuscripts submitted for publication in the journal will not be published without the favorable opinions of the anonymous referees (two referees) or without the provision of a new text containing the corrections suggested by the referees. When one of the referees gives a positive and the other a negative opinion, the manuscript is sent to a third referee.
7. The period given to the referees for evaluation is 15 days and this period can be extended for another 15 days in case of necessity. If the referee evaluation report is not sent within the deadline, Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi Editorial Board will appoint a new referee without contacting the referee.
Article Correction Stage
8. The period given to the authors to complete the corrections specified in the evaluation report sent by the referee is 1 month. If the author does not complete the corrections within 1 month, the editorial board has the right to reject the work without contacting the author.
Journal Typesetting Phase
9. Each issue is based on the date of acceptance of the articles in terms of typesetting order.

Copyright Policy
- The studies submitted to our Journal for publication must be original works that have not been published in any way before or sent anywhere for publication. When submitting their work, individuals are obliged to declare that the work, in whole or in part, has not been previously published on any other platform and is not under evaluation for publication. In case of a contrary situation, the author will be held responsible for the situation in accordance with the relevant sanctions.
- Author(s) who wrote the article,
a) that the submitted article is the original work of the author(s),
b) that all authors have individually participated in this study and take full responsibility for this study,
c) all authors have seen and approved the final version of the submitted manuscript,
d) the article has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere,
f) the text, figures and documents contained in the article do not infringe the Copyrights of other persons,
g) accepts and guarantees that he/she allows the Director's Office of Selçuk University Vocational School of Justice to use the copyright arising from the publication, printing, presentation, distribution and electronic presentation of the article without any restrictions, provided that the rights specified in the following articles are reserved.
- Apart from the above-mentioned articles, the author(s)
a) patent rights other than copyright,
b) the right of the author(s) to use the entire article in lectures, presentations and books without payment,
c) the right to reproduce the article for their own purposes, provided that they do not sell it.
- However, the author(s) has the right to reproduce the article and distribute it by mail or electronically. The use of any part of the article in another publication is permitted provided that Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi is cited.
- The author(s) of the article undertake(s) that "Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi Editors" have no responsibility for any claims or lawsuits to be filed by third parties due to copyright infringement, and also that there are no criminal elements or illegal expressions in the article, no illegal materials and methods were used during the research, all legal permissions related to the study were obtained and ethical rules were followed.
- Authors who will submit a study to our journal must fill out the "Copyright Transfer Form" document. The author(s) must sign the form with a wet signature. The signed form should be scanned and sent to the journal during the first submission.

Plagiarism Policy
- Plagiarism is a violation of ethics, regardless of whether it is intentional or not. It is not only unethical but also a crime and unacceptable to publish studies that are similar to other sources without reference.
- The Editorial Board may act in accordance with COPE rules in the face of allegations and suspicions of plagiarism, citation manipulation and data falsification regarding the studies submitted to the journal.
- All works submitted for publication in the journal are examined in the "iThenticate" plagiarism program. As a result of this review, the plagiarism/similarity rate can be maximum 25%. Works with a plagiarism/similarity rate above 25% are directly rejected by the editor and removed from the publication process.

Blind Refereeing Policy
- Blind review processes directly affect the quality of academic publications. For this reason, the evaluation process of Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi is carried out with the principle of double blind refereeing.
- Articles are sent to the referees anonymously and the referees are not informed about the identity of the authors.
- The names of the reviewers are also not mentioned in the reports and the journal due to the double-blinding method.
- Referees cannot contact the authors directly, and the evaluation and referee reports are transmitted through the DergiPark system. In this process, evaluation forms and referee reports are sent to the author(s) through the editor.

Open Access Policy
- Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi, as a journal that is aware of the need for easy access to information in order to advance scientific studies, supports the open access initiative of the Budapest Open Access Declaration (available here: https://www.budapestopenaccessinitiative.org/boai-10-translations/turkish-translation), the Journal supports the initiative of making peer-reviewed journal literature open access and provides all published articles free of charge in an environment where anyone can read and download them.
- The entire content of Selçuk Üniversitesi Adalet Meslek Yüksekokulu Dergisi (SÜAMYOD) is provided free of charge to the readers.
- Readers can read, download, copy, search and link to the full text of the journal articles without permission from the publisher or the author, except for commercial purposes. Selçuk University, the publisher of the journal, does not charge any subscription fee, publication fee or similar payment for access to electronic resources except for commercial purposes.
- Articles in this journal can be used as long as the author and the original source are cited. Permission from authors or publishers is not required.
Creative Commons
- A Creative Commons license is a type of public copyright license that allows a copyrighted work or work to be distributed free of charge. An author uses the CC license when he or she wants to give the right to share or modify his or her work for use.
- Our journal accepts the Creative Commons Attribution License (Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International CC BY-NC-ND) for all published articles.
- This license allows other authors to use your work in their own works for non-commercial purposes, provided that they credit your work.
- Open access is an approach that reinforces interdisciplinary development and encourages collaboration between different disciplines. Therefore, the Review contributes to its field by offering greater access to its articles and a more transparent review process.

Wage Policy
- All expenses of the journal are covered by Selçuk University.
- No fee is charged for the publication of articles in the journal and the execution of article processes.
- No processing fee or publication fee is charged for articles submitted to the journal or accepted for publication.

Advertising Policy
- The acceptance of advertisements is decided by the editor and the owner of the journal.
- Scientific content and editorial decisions are not affected by advertisements.
- Although the content of the advertisement is not related to the editor, advertisements are separate from the scientific content of the journal.
- The products included in the advertisements accepted to the journal are not sold or marketed.
- The journal management is not responsible for the advertisements. This responsibility belongs entirely to the advertisement owner.
- Advertisements accepted to the journal can be placed on any page deemed appropriate by the journal management.
- Advertisements are published according to the contract made between the magazine management and the advertisement owner company.
- The contents of the advertisements cannot discriminate against any language, religion, race, gender, age, disability, etc.
- Advertisements with content contrary to the rules of society and broadcasting ethics cannot be published.
- Advertisements of products that are produced in accordance with national rules and fulfill their obligations such as licenses etc. are accepted.
- Advertisements must be prepared in accordance with competition laws and other relevant rules.
- The magazine management cannot be held responsible for any material damages that may occur due to errors in the content of the advertisement.
