Aim & Scope
Sirnak University Journal of Science is a peer-reviewed open access medium for both natural&applied sciences (i.e. agriculture, forestry, food) and engineering disciplines (i.e. mechanical, civil, computer, metallurgical, and energy). The journal is published twice (June and December) a year. The evaluation process is conducted according to blind review regulations. Both Turkish and/or English papers can be published in this Journal.
Each study uploaded to the system of Sirnak University Journal of Science is firstly reviewed by the editor-in-chief or department editors in terms of the journal's writing and publishing principles. After the approval of the editor, the studies which are made in accordance with the application and writing rules of the journal are sent to at least two independent referees who are experts in their fields. These referees are selected from among the persons who have obtained at least a doctoral degree in the field of study and department. The studies are evaluated in accordance with the blind review process. All the processes from the application process to the publication stage of the study take place in an electronic environment.
The publication and publication rights of the studies sent to Şırnak University Journal of Science are transferred to the journal. These manuscripts may not be published, reproduced or used in any other publication without permission from the journal management.
Sirnak University Journal of Science, editors and department editors are declared and undertook their duties and responsibilities to, open access ethics based on "COPE Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors" and "COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors" published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All articles are checked for similarity or plagiarism. The manuscripts submitted to the journal should not have been published in any publication before, and when it is added to the system, another publication should not be involved in the publication evaluation process. There is no fee for the studies to be published in the journal.
