AN OVERVIEW OF INFRARED DETECTORS

Abstract

In this work, we have carried out a literature survey on the kinds and properties of materials which are especially used to produce detectors. Infrared detector technology and some processes for such developments in literature have been presented. On the other hand, infrared systems and detectors have been outlined and some new and latest developments in infrared region of spectrum have been demonstrated.
