Effects of Different Temperature Degrees on Ratio of Adult Emergence of Galleria mellonella (L.) Pupae

Abstract

Galleria mellonella is one of the harmful species which makes tunnel on the honeycomb. In this study, the effects of adult emergence ratio of Galleria mellonella was investigated with respect to decreasing temperature. The adult emergence ratio depends on the temperature and application period and it was decreased with temperature. The adult emergence ratio was founded as 0 % within 23 and 30 days’ application periods.

Farklı Sıcaklık Derecelerinin Galleria mellonella (L.) Puplarının Açılma Oranına Etkileri

Abstract

Galleria mellonella petek üzerinde gal yapan zararlı bir türdür. Bu çalışmada tedrici azalan sıcaklığın Galleria mellonella puplarının açılma oranına etkileri araştırılmıştır. Uygulama süresine ve sıcaklığa bağlı olarak pup açılma oranı azalmıştır. 23 ve 30 günlük sıcaklık uygulamasında pup açılma oranı % 0 bulunmuştur.
