Abstract
Cyperus rotundus L.’ un yumru köklerinden su distilasyonuyla elde edilen uçucu yağının antibakteriyel aktivitesi, bazı Gram (+) bakterilere (Bacillus cereus ATCC 11778, Sarcina lutea ATCC 9341, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538, Streptococcus mutans NCTC 10449 ve Streptococcus salivarius Pasteur Ens. 55126) ve Gram (-) bakterilere (Escherichia coli ATCC 29998, Klebsiella pneumoniae NCTC 5046, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853, Salmonella cholerasuis ATCC 14028 ve Salmonella enteritidis ATCC 13076) karşı disk difüzyon metoduyla araştırıldı. Antibakteriyel aktivite araştırma sonuçları, Cyperus rotundus L.' un uçucu yağının Gram (+) bakterilere özellikle Staphylococcus aureus' a karşı etkili olduğunu, fskat Gram (-) bakterilere karşı ise hiçbir antibakteriyel etkisinin olmadığını göstermiştir.

When the Faculty of Letters and Sciences was separated into the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Letters with the decision of the Council of Ministers numbered 2008/4344 published in the Official Gazette dated 3 December 2008 and numbered 27073, it has been published as "Selcuk University Journal of Science Faculty" between 2009-2025.
It has been scanned in DergiPark since 2016.
