Türkiye’deki Demir Envanteri İçin Uyarlanabilir Küme Örneklemesindeki Alternatif Tahmin Edicilerin Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, uyarlanabilir küme örneklemesi tasarımı için Thompson (1990) tarafından geliştirilen modife edilmiş Horvitz-Thompson (HT) ve Hansen-Hurwitz (HH) tahmin edicilerinin özellikleri ile birlikte Salehi (2003) tarafından, modife edilmiş Hansen-Hurwitz (HH) tahmin edicisi kullanılarak geliştirilmiş bir diğer yansız tahmin edicinin özellikleri incelenecektir. Ayrıca, uyarlanabilir küme örneklemesinin son yıllarda farklı araştırma alanlarında uygulanmasından dolayı, burada bu tasarım kullanılarak Türkiye’deki demir envanteri verileri ile sözkonusu tahmin edicilerin varyans tahminleri karşılaştırılacaktır.

Comparison of Alternative Estimators in Adaptive Cluster Sampling for Iron Inventory in Turkey

Abstract

In this paper, it is examined properties of the modified Horvitz-Thompson (HT) and Hansen-Hurwitz (HH) estimators developed by Thompson (1990) for adaptive cluster sampling design and together with these, properties of another unbiased estimator developed by using the modified Hansen-Hurwitz (HH) estimator by Salehi (2003). In addition, since adaptive cluster sampling has been applied in different research areas in recent years, it is compared with variance estimations of these estimators by using this design with iron inventory data in Turkey.
