Investigation of Burnout Levels of Psychological Counselors With Respect to Different Variables

Abstract

In this research, burnout levels counselors age, marital status, gender, place of birth, the task environment of the school was to examine the satisfaction of hearing and occupational seniority according to the variables. 2010-2011 academic research center in the city of Erzurum and counselors working in the districts from 147 people carried out on randomly determined. Research data, Maslach (1981) and developed by Ergin (1992) collected by the Turkish adaptation of the Maslach Burnout Inventory. Data on variables related to psychological consultants prepared by the researcher, "Personal Information Form" has been achieved by. One-way analysis of variance and t test statistical analysis of the data used in the technique. As a result of the burnout levels of psychological research with advisers in gender, marital status and place of birth is not a meaningful differentiation between the variables, age, professional seniority and job satisfaction of hearing about the school environment was found to be significant differences in the variable. These results are discussed and suggestions are needed.
