TEDARİK ZİNCİRİYÖNETİMİNDE DAĞITIM AĞLARININ TASARIMI VE OPTİMİZASYONU: MALZEME İHTİYAÇ KISITI ALTINDA STRATEJİK BİR ÜRETİM-DAĞITIM MODELİ

Year 2005, Issue: 14, 435 - 454, 01.08.2005

Abstract

Abstract

A supply chain can be defined as an integrated system, which manages information and physical distribution, in order to synchronize a series of business processes from the supply of raw materials and components to delivery of finished products through end customers in a network that includes various business actors such as suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. Network design problem, that includes sub problems such as assigning the numbers and the locations of entities of this business network and determining the amount of physical distribution among these entities, has a strategic role in supply chain management. In this study, design and optimization problem of distribution networks in supply chain management is considered. A multi echelon mixed integer model for the production-distribution model under material requirements constraints is developed
