İş yeri zorbalığı ve sinizm kavramlarının, çalışan güvenliğini sosyo-psikolojik şartlarda etkilediği düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışma, sağlık kurumlarında çalışan güvenliğinin sağlanması bakımından önem arz eden iş yeri zorbalığı ve örgütsel sinizm kavramlarının düzeyinin tespit edilerek, bu iki kavram arasındaki ilişkiyi açıklamak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma, Konya’da iki farklı sağlık kuruluşunda uygulanmıştır. Örneklem 332 sağlık çalışanından oluşmaktadır. Çalışanlar %31 oranında zorbalığa maruz kaldıklarını ifade etmişlerdir. Health workers are individuals who directly affect the quality of health care delivery. It is an inevitable fact that a qualified environment should be provided in order to provide a qualified service delivery by healthcare workers. Today, there are many biological, chemical, physical and psycho-social threats that threaten the safety of health workers. Workplace bullying, which also includes a psychosocial dimension, is seen as an important factor affecting the psycho-social security of health workers. As a result of some conditions such as organizational culture and misapplication in the organization, damage, crises and workplace bullying may occur. Such situations have led to the development of significant negative thoughts, attitudes and behaviors towards employees in their employees. Cynicism is one of them. It is known that workplace bullying is a situation that threatens the safety of health workers. Organizational cynicism causes employees to feed negative opinions against the institution. It is thought that the concepts of workplace bullying and organizational cynicism affect the employee security in psycho-social conditions. The aim of this study was to determine the level of workplace bullying and organizational cynicism, which is important psycho-socially for the safety of employee in health institutions, and to explain the relationship between the two concepts. The study was carried out in two different health institutions in Konya. The sample was composed of 332 health employees. Workplace bullying and organizational cynicism scales were used for data collection. Descriptive statistics, Mann Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis H test, Independent Samples t and ANOVA test, Spearman correlation and simple linear regression analysis were used in the dependent samples. 65% of the participants were women. 39% of the participants are nurses and 32% are administrative staff. .Employees stated that they were exposed to 31% of the population. The average score and standard deviation of the workplace bullying scale was 1,615±0,547. The average score of the organizational cynicism scale and the standard deviation was 2,453±0,830.
