Tekstil ve Moda Tasarımı Lisans Programlarına Yetenek Sınavı veya Merkezi Yerleştirme ile Gelen Öğrencilerin Mesleki Yeterliliklere Ulaşma Düzeylerinin Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı; özel yetenek sınavı veya merkezi yerleştirme sınavı ile öğrenci kabul eden tekstil ve moda tasarımı bölümü veya Yükseköğretim Kurulu (YÖK) tarafından eş değerliği kabul edilmiş bölümlerin 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin mesleki yeterliliklere ve yetkinliklere ulaşma düzeylerini öğrenci görüşlerine göre karşılaştırmalı olarak ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma, tarama modelinde yürütülmüştür. Türkiye’deki üniversitelerde bulunan tekstil ve moda tasarımı programlarının 4. sınıf öğrencileri arasından küme örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen, özel yetenek sınavı ile öğrenci kabul eden 4 üniversiteden toplam 50 öğrenci ile merkezi yerleştirme sınavı ile öğrenci kabul eden 2 üniversiteden toplam 93 öğrenci araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmaktadır. Tekstil ve moda tasarımı öğrencisinin mezun olduğunda sahip olması beklenilen; 10 kuramsal ve olgusal bilgi yeterliliği, 21 bilişsel ve uygulamalı beceri yeterliliği ile birlikte meslekle ilişkili olan davranış ve tutumları kapsayan 21 yetkinlik ulusal ve uluslararası meslek standartları ve programların tanımladıkları program çıktılarından yola çıkarak tanımlanmıştır. Tanımlanan 51 yeterlilik için öğrencilerin kendilerini ne derece yetkin bulduklarına yönelik görüşleri anketler yoluyla toplanmış ve istatistik işlemlerle araştırma bulgularına ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, hem özel yetenek hem de merkezi sınavla tekstil ve moda tasarımı bölümlerine kabul edilen öğrencilerin aldıkları lisans eğitimi sonunda mesleklerini yapmak için ihtiyaç duydukları yeterliliklere büyük oranda ulaştıkları görüşünde oldukları ortaya konulmuştur.
