Copyright Policy

The authors own the copyright of their works published in Siirt University Social Sciences Institute Journal and their works are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0). The CC BY-NC 4.0 license allows the work to be shared, copied, reproduced, and adapted, including remixing, transforming, and building on the work, in any size and format, except for commercial use, provided that the original work is properly cited. Open Access Policy

Our journal supports open access. In accordance with the open access policy, journal issues and articles are available on the journal's website and the full texts of the articles can be accessed as pdf files. There are no restrictions preventing published articles from being stored in personal web pages or corporate archives. Siirt University Journal of Social Sciences Institute author license permits reuse with attribution to the source of the article (with full citation) for non-commercial use only. Siirt University Social Sciences Institute Journal undertakes to keep all its articles open access under the CC-BY-NC Creative Commons license and to store the full text content on archive platforms and on the website https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/susbid. Plagiarism Policy Plagiarism is the way authors use someone else's statements, discoveries, or ideas in their work without permission or reference, violating ethical and academic integrity. Our journal complies with the basic principles listed below when it comes to recognizing plagiarism:

* Quoting another person's work word for word without citing the source,

* Reinterpreting another person's work by changing some of the words or their order,

* Using someone's ideas without reference (Rewriting without reference),

* Cutting and pasting from online sources without citing the source,

* Using someone else's writings as part of your own work. Plagiarism is not tolerated in any of our publications and we reserve the right to check it. In this context, articles sent to our journal are scanned with iThenticate, a plagiarism detection program. If the similarity rate is high, the article is rejected. Accepted articles are presented to the referees along with their report. Similarity rates of 20% or more, including citations, are not accepted for articles. We expect our readers to express their suspicions of plagiarism by contacting the relevant editor or by sending an e-mail to sosbilder@siirt.edu.tr.
