A NEW APPROACHES IN ORGANIZATIONS FOR ACHIEVING MANAGERIAL EFFECTIVENESS: CREATIVE LEADERSHIP

Abstract

In globalizing world, business owners and organizations are in need of leaders rather than managers. Researches show that leaders are people carrying the organization to the future. Leaders act the forces of individuals with different ways. First, leaders have expressed responsively that the vision of the organization is compatible with the values of employees, a way not to conflict their values and also leaders have taken great care to share decisions about how vision will be implemented to the life. Today’s organizations, in particular business environment, shows itself with constantly and radical changes. In such a changeable environment, organizations have to increase the learning potantial of all its members as well as managers and they have to feel themselves to equip their employees with knowledge and skills accordance with the current requirements. At this stage, leadership emerges and it helps to feel the energy, which employees have, themselves for meeting the needs instead of pushing the employees in one direction with their control mechanism. In this study, generally, the definition of leadership, responsibilities, the relationship between mission and vision with leadership, leadership behavior types (styles) are emphasized. Also features such as what a leader should have explained and the importance of creative leadership for today’s organizations have emphasized. In research part of the study, the result of an interview with person looking at a leader interpreted and leadership styles have been disabled to remain only a theoretical basis. Leadership styles are discussed in a concrete way by giving examples with the contributions of persons who have interviewed and also the relationship with creative leadership has been established.
