Abstract

Although there is generally a suitable role pattern for every management level in the organizations, the relationship between the authority and power is complicated in the management understanding of our country. Everybody believes to be equipped with authority and power in some specific subjects or wants to see themselves as if they have these. Perhaps the main cause of this is the absence of certain role definitions of the individuals according to their status.This situation may affect the success and the productivity of the organizations negatively both in long and short run. The objective of this study is to determine the changing functions and roles of the managers according to their management level inside the organizations. In this context, the subjects like management, managers, the concept of role and the managerial roles are mentioned in this study.

YÖNETİMDE ROL KAVRAMI ve YÖNETSEL ROLLER

Abstract

Genel olarak organizasyonlar içerisinde her yönetim kademesi için uygun olan bir rol kalıbı söz konusu olmasına rağmen, ülkemiz yönetim anlayışında ise, otorite, güç, ve yetki ilişkisi karışıktır. Herkes kendisinin belli konularla ilgili olarak otorite, güç ve yetkiyle donatılmış olduğuna inanır ya da kendisini böyle görmek ister. Bunun belki de temel sebebi bireylerin toplumdaki statü ya da statülerine göre kesin bir rol tanımlamasının olmayışıdır. Bu da şüphesiz kurumların başarısını ve verimliliğini uzun ve kısa vadede olumsuz yönde etkileyebilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı da organizasyon içerisindeki yönetim kademelerine göre yöneticilerin değişen fonksiyonlarının ve rollerinin neler olduğunu ortaya koymaktır. Bu bağlamda çalışmada yönetim, yönetici, yönetimde rol olgusu ve yönetsel roller gibi konulara değinilmektedir.
