ETHICAL PRINCIPLES AND PUBLICATION POLICY

Publication Policy

Submitted articles must align with the journal's aims and scope. Only original, unpublished articles that are not under review elsewhere and have been approved by all authors for submission are accepted for evaluation. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information provided in their submissions and for guaranteeing the originality of their work.

Once an article is submitted, no author’s name can be removed from the author list, no new author can be added, and the author order cannot be changed without written consent from all authors. Any changes in the content or structure of the article also require the approval of all authors.

Ethical violations, including plagiarism, duplication, false authorship, research/data fabrication, salami slicing (publishing in parts), copyright infringement, and concealing conflicts of interest, are strictly prohibited. Any article that violates these ethical standards will be removed from publication, even if the violation is discovered post-publication.

Plagiarism
Submitted articles are screened for plagiarism using iThenticate software. If plagiarism or self-plagiarism is detected, the authors will be informed, and revisions will be requested. Editors may recheck for plagiarism at various stages of the review or production process, if necessary. Articles with a similarity rate higher than 15% may be rejected, even after acceptance, depending on the nature of the submission.

Double-Blind Peer Review
After plagiarism screening, suitable articles are evaluated by the editor for originality, methodology, relevance, and alignment with the journal’s scope. Eligible articles undergo a double-blind peer review process. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two referees from national and/or international institutions. Referees may request revisions from the authors, and once the required changes are made, the article may be approved for publication.

Research Ethics
The journal upholds the highest standards of research ethics and follows internationally recognized ethical principles. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work complies with these ethical guidelines.

• The design, execution, and reporting of research must adhere to principles of integrity, transparency, and quality.
• Research participants must be fully informed about the purpose, methods, and potential outcomes of the research, as well as any risks involved.
• The confidentiality of participants' information and privacy must be maintained.
• Participants must voluntarily consent to participate without any form of coercion.
• No harm should come to participants, and the research should not expose them to unnecessary risks.
• Any conflicts of interest must be clearly disclosed.
• In experimental studies, written informed consent must be obtained from participants or, in the case of minors or legally incapacitated individuals, from their legal guardians.
• If research is conducted within an institution, approval from that institution is required.
• In studies involving human subjects, the methodology section must state that informed consent was obtained from participants and that ethical approval was granted by the relevant institution.

Authors' Responsibilities
• Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work complies with scientific and ethical standards. They must guarantee that their submission is original, has not been previously published, and is not under review elsewhere in any language. Copyright laws and agreements must be respected, and all materials that require permission (e.g., tables, figures, or extended quotations) should be appropriately credited. The work of other authors and sources must be properly cited and acknowledged in the references.
• All authors listed on the manuscript must have made direct academic and scientific contributions to the work. In this context, an “author” is someone who has significantly contributed to the conceptualization, design, data acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of the research, or has critically revised the content for important intellectual input. Simply providing funding, data collection, or general supervision of the research does not qualify as authorship. All individuals who meet these criteria should be listed as authors, and the order of authorship must reflect a collective decision. All authors must sign the Copyright Agreement Form to confirm their authorship and the order in which they are listed.
• Individuals who do not meet the authorship criteria but contributed to the study in other ways (e.g., providing technical support, writing assistance, or general support) should be acknowledged in the “Acknowledgments” section.
• All authors must disclose any financial relationships, conflicts of interest, or competing interests that may have influenced the research findings. If an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in their published work, they are responsible for promptly notifying the editor and cooperating to either correct or retract the article.
