Abstract

Küreselleşme, ekonomik, kültürel, siyasi, dini ve sosyal sistemlerin dünya çapında entegrasyonudur.Bazı bilim adamları ve gözlemciler küreselleşme ile birlikte üretim ve tüketim kalıplarınınuyumu ve kültürün homojenleşmesini vurgularken; diğer bazı bilim adamları ve gözlemcilerise küreselleşmenin birden çok forma dönüşme, farklılaşma potansiyelini taşıdığını vurgulamaktadır.Bu bağlamda günümüzün artan rekabetçi koşulları işletmeleri sadece diğer ülkelerinekonomik ve siyasi sistemlerini değil aynı zamanda kültürel, dini ve sosyal sistemlerinianaliz etmeye zorlamaktadır. Hofstede Kültür Boyutları (Modeli), kültür konusunda dünyaçapında gerçekleştirilmiş en iyi araştırmalardan birisidir. Bu sebeple bu çalışmada HofstedeKültür Boyutları (Modeli) tercih edilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Türk iş kültürünün küreselleşmesürecinde yaşadığı dönüşümün boyutlarını analiz etmektir.

The Dimensions of Transformation of Turk Business Culture in the Globalization Process

Abstract

Globalization is the worldwide integration of economic, cultural, political, religious, and social
systems. While some scholars and observers stress convergence of patterns of production and
consumption and a resulting homogenization of culture, others stress that globalization has
the potential to take many diverse forms. In this context, todays increasing competition
conditions force companies to analyze not only other countries’ economic and political systems
but also their cultural, religious and social systems. Hofstede Cultural Dimensions (Model) is the one of the best worldwide research on culture. Because of this reason, Hofstede Cultural
Dimensions (Model) is prefered in this paper. The aim of this paper is to analyze the
dimensions of transformation of Turk Business Culture in the globalization process.
