Abstract

Yerleşik yabancılar konusu son yıllarda tüm dünyada olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de üzerindeönemle durulan konulardan biri haline gelmiştir. Levanten toplumu da ülkemizde bu kavramiçerisinde tarihteki yerini almıştır. Ayrıca Levantenlik, yüzyıllardır ve özellikle deondokuzuncu yüzyılda üzerinde önemli tartışmalara neden olmuş bir kavramdır. Levantenler,Osmanlı sosyo-ekonomik ve kültürel yaşamında Tarihi coğrafyamız açısından son derece önemlidir

An Examination On The Concept Of Levantine And Levantines

Abstract

The topic which is related to the Resident foreigner is being one of the subjects in Turkey like all over the World in recent years. In our country, the society of Levantines is also take place in history, inside of this concept. Furthermore Levantine is the most debatable concepts for centuries, especially, during the 19 century. In addition, Levantine’s in terms of geography and concept in our historical geography has an important place affecting the soscio-economic and cultural life of the Ottomans.
