Bu çalışmada Fâtımî Devleti’nin kuruluşundan yıkılışına kadar geçen yaklaşık 250 yıllık süreçtefarklı milletlerden meydana gelen askeri unsurları ordularında istihdam etmesi, bununtemel sebepleri ve Fâtımî ordusunun bu çok uluslu yapısının Fâtımî Devleti’ne etkisi konu edilmiştir
