In such literature works as sagas, novels, stories and dramas which are based on events, there is a character called “protagonist” who performs the event and is in the central position according to the story line of the work. He/she is in the centre of the work. The protagonist of the Hasan Bulliler novel and Saga is Hasan Bulli. In his lifetime, Hasan Bulli is a saga hero who was seen as a hero by both the Turks and the Greeks who stood against the oppressor governments in the country.
In Hasan Bulliler Saga and the novel which was written based on the saga, the story of three brothers and their advocates who took the mountains and lived there for years after being convicted with unjust accusations in the early years of British administration in Cyprus is told.
In the novel Hasan Bulliler, Nazemin Gelen wrote about Hasan Bulliler and his family departing from historical facts. In our article, starting from Hasan Bulli brothers, we display the historical events that Cypriot Turks experienced in these years and the socio-cultural life of the era. Nevertheless, based on our cultural values that we brought today from those years, we saw that the novel played an essential role in cultural communication between generations.
