Assessment of Soil and Rice Quality of Ipsala District (Edirne) in Terms of Some Essential and Toxic Element Accumulations

İpsala İlçesi (Edirne) Toprak ve Pirinç Kalitesinin Bazı Esansiyel ve Toksik Element Birikimleri Açısından Değerlendirilmesi

Öz

Bu çalışmada, 2012 yılı ilkbahar mevsiminde, İpsala İlçesi ve bağlı köylerinden, bölgenin toprak ve çeltik kalitesini en iyi yansıtacağı düşünülen toplam 42 istasyondan örnekler toplanmış ve mangan, demir, kadmiyum, kurşun, krom, bakır, çinko ve nikel içerikleri tespit edilmiştir. Pirinçlerde tespit edilen toksik elementlerin biyoakümülasyon faktörleri (BAF) her bir element ve istasyon için ayrı ayrı hesaplanmış. Elde edilen veriler “Toprak Kirliliğinin Kontrolü Yönetmeliği” ve “Türk Gıda Kodeksi” tebliğine göre değerlendirilmiş. Ayrıca elde edilen verilerin daha kapsamlı ve sofistike bir şekilde değerlendirilebilmesi için “Kümeleme Analizi” ve “Pearson Korelasyon İndeksi” kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilere göre, pirinçteki en yüksek BAF değerlerinin nikel, bakır ve çinko elementlerine ait olduğu, İpsala Bölgesi topraklarında belirlenen nikel konsantrasyonlarının sınır değerlerin oldukça üzerinde olduğu ve pirinçteki ağır metal biyoakümülasyon seviyelerinin ise sınır değerlerin altında olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
