Investigation of Root Induction Effect of Lysophosphatidylethanolamine by using Phaseolus Aureus L. Model System

Abstract

Recent studies shows that phospholipids and phospholipases play an important role not only plant development but also signaling and hormonal role in plant life. However, by comparison, there is very little information available on the effect of exogenously applied phospholipids on plant growth and development. The aim of this study was to investigate root induction effect of Lysophosphatidylethanolamine (L) by using Phaseolus aureus L. model system. For this purpose, three different concentration of L compared with NAA and IBA auxins by determination of average rooting ability during the 5 to 9 days of experiment. Result of the study shows that except 200 ppm L application all treatments were induce more rooting than control after seventh day. The most root induction was observed with plants treated with 10 ppm IBA after seven days. Effect of 10 ppm NAA and 50 or 100 ppm L was statistically the same on the induction of rooting in this model system at seventh to ninth days of experiment and these treatments were statistically induced more root than control treatments

Lysofosfatidiletanolaminin Köklendirmeye Etkisinin Phaseolus aureus L. Model Sisteminde Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Son yıllarda yapılan bilimsel çalışmalar fosfolipid ve fosfolipazların bitkilerin gelişimde olduğu kadar ikincil haberci ve bitki hormonu olarak
davranabildiğini işaret etmiştir. Bununla birlikte dışarıdan yapılan spesifi k lipid uygulamalarının bitkilerin büyüme ve gelişmesinde nasıl bir etki doğurduğu
konusundaki çalışmalar çok sınırlıdır. Bu çalışmada lysofosfatidiletanolaminin (L) köklendirme üzerindeki potansiyel etkisi sık kullanılan bir model sistem
olan maş fasulyesi bitkilerinde denendi. Üç farklı dozdaki L’in ve karşılaştırma amacıyla kullanılan NAA ve IBA oksinlerinin oluşturdukları bitki başına
düşen ortalama kök sayısı 5 ila 9. gün boyunca tespit edildi. Alınan sonuçlarda 200 ppm L dozu haricinde 7. günden sonra tüm muameleler kontrol bitkisinden
istatistiksel olarak fazla kök oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada 10 ppm IBA in istatistiksel olarak diğer muamelelerden daha fazla kök oluşturduğu gözlenmiştir. 10
ppm NAA ile 50 ve 100 ppm L muameleleri arasında 7. 8. ve 9. günler arasında etki bakımından istatistiki olarak bir faklılık görülmemiş ve bu muamelelerin
kontrol ve 200 ppm L den istatistik olarak daha fazla kök oluşumu sağladığı saptanmıştır
