SAHNEDEKİ KÜLTÜREL TRAVMA: OYUNLARLA YAŞAYANLAR

Abstract

Bu çalışma Oğuz Atay’ın Oyunlarla Yaşayanlar adlı oyununun kültürel travma teorileri doğrultusunda eleştirisidir. Oyunlarla Yaşayanlar’ı Türkiye’nin politik, sosyal ve kültürel tarihinde ele almak kültürel travma teorilerine dayalı bir okumayı gerekli kılar. Dahası bu türde bir okuma oyunu etkileyen tiyatro dışı unsurları da ortaya çıkarır. Araştırmacı, kültürel travma düşüncesini eleştiri kuramı olarak uygulanabilecek şekilde genişletmiş ve Oyunlarla Yaşayanlar’daki travmatik dokuyu ortaya çıkartmıştır. Kültürel travma somut durumların sayısına bağlı olarak süregelen sosyal değişim zincirinin halkaları arasındaki bağlantıdır. Kültürel travma kültürün morfolojik yapısında değişimine veya kültürel bozulmanın yıkıcı döngüsüne ait bir dönem olabilir. Bu bağlamda, Oyunlarla Yaşayanlar, Türkiye’de batılılaşma hareketinin başlangıcından beri Türk halkının yaşadığı kültürel travmayı yansıtan yegâne dramatik metinlerden biridir.
