Abstract

This article aims to present a selected bibliography on the Turkish studies on history of physics. The selection was made according to the following criteria: Being a product of an original research, rather than a compilation or a translation, and inclusion of academic studies on physics that took place in Turkey. The sources in the bibliographical part of the article were divided into three groups. First group covers the basic references and the bibliographies for history of Turkish physics. Second and third groups, include the studies related to the periods of Ottoman Modernization and Turkish Republic. Finally, by surveying the literature, the author interprets and argues general characteristics of Turkish studies on the history of physics.
