Time and the patience are the two most important elements of education. This is the case for all types of education. Time and space should be taken into consideration because of the fact that the education is dynamic and variable (changeable); methods should be improved through innovation while keeping the socio-cultural, intelligence and age differences of interlocutors in mind. The Meccan verses of the first period of the revelation were revealed (brought down) to a morally corrupted society where One God religion was forgotten. Islam aimed to educate its first interlocutors in a way which could appeal all mankind because of the desire to lay the foundations of a new society understanding in terms of both belief and morality. Koran conveyed the understanding of one god and its necessities through Prophet Muhammad and blended different types of literary styles of Arabic language such as repetition, te’kid and metaphors with methods such as inzâr-tabşîr, question-answer and narration with examples while training these first interlocutors who will set an example for later centuries. While doing all of these, Koran used gradual style and generated unique and radical changes in a very short period of time. Thus, a method of Islamic education emerged which will continue for centuries with the Medina period. Since it was the period of construction and the first invitation, very important innovations and radical changes were observed in the Meccan period. The method of the verses revealed in this period is a method that covers not only Muslims but also those who deny it. The Qur'an, which uses a unique style, contains very loud warnings against the stubborn society despite the verses sent down for the destruction of polytheism. In addition, it preferred an encouraging style to believers for believing and displayed good morals. The verses aimed at thinking in accordance with the religious situations of both belief groups presented different evidences to both believers and non-believers. Thus, the Qur'an has addressed every mind and level.
