Started in 1999 and published by Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University as of 2018, the Journal of Sufi Science and Academic Research publishes two issues a year, in June and December. (Article acceptance dates: June issue : January 1 - May 1; December issue : July 1 - November 1). The Journal of Sufism aims to publish previously unpublished articles in Turkish, Arabic and English in the field of theology (Social Sciences and Humanities/Religion); book, thesis, conference and symposium reviews; and scholarly interviews. Articles submitted for publication are subjected to double blind peer review by at least two referees. In addition, a special plagiarism detection program is used to verify that the articles have not been published before and do not contain plagiarism.

ANNOUNCEMENT: With the decision of the Scientific Journals Coordinatorship of our University, Prof. Dr. Özcan Hıdır has been appointed as the Chief Editor of our Journal as of 18.09.2025.
