In this study, it is aimed to apply the activities related to hospitality prepared by considering the teaching approaches suitable for the nature of values to primary school fourth grade students and to evaluate the results. In the study, a quasi-experimental design (selective) with a pretest posttest control group, one of the quantitative research designs, was used. In this process, to increase the hospitality tendencies of the students in the experimental group, activities related to hospitality were developed and implemented by considering the nature of values, the developmental characteristics of the students and the achievements in the primary school fourth grade Social Studies course. The data of the research were collected through the scales of being respectful, loving, tolerant and hospitable. Data were analyzed with the Mann Whitney U test. As a result of the research: While there was no significant difference in the pre-test findings of the experimental and control group students' tendencies to be respectful, love, tolerant and hospitable; In the post-test findings, it was observed that there was a significant difference in favor of the experimental group in the tendencies of being respectful, loving, and tolerant. In the post-test findings of the tendency to be hospitable, it was seen that the experimental group scores increased, but this difference was not significant. According to these findings, activities related to hospitality, which are structured in accordance with the nature of values and the developmental characteristics of students, significantly increase the tendency of primary school fourth grade students to be respectful, affectionate, and tolerant; It can be said that it also contributed significantly to the tendency to be hospitable.
