Aim & Scope

Turkish Journal of Land Management primarily takes into account the following three basic principles.


1. Sustainable Land Management (Right of Next Generations)
2. Land Management Respecting Human Rights (Property Rights of the State and Individuals)
3. Land Management that Protects the Environment and Ecology (Nature's Right to Life)

In this context, Turkish Journal of Land Management aim is;

• Providing information sharing regarding the determination, production and management of the geographical and descriptive data standards of the real properties in order to ensure healthy progress of land policies on every platform,
• With sustainable land management; To publish innovative researches in order to ensure that all developments such as urbanization, agriculture and the healthy continuation of natural life can be delivered to future generations with the right strategies,
• To include scientific research that examines the management of natural, historical and social areas and the common interests of agricultural land and marginal land use in cities where the common areas of common use of society are concentrated, and that all these lands can be planned for the benefit of the individual and the state and shed light on the future,
• To include innovation researches on how to protect natural areas and resources that are decreasing every year in meeting the increasing human needs in the process of population, social life and the development of technology,
• Within the scope of land management, to present the researches of scientists working in the fields of forest, pasture, coastal management as well as the management of soil and water areas and to disseminate them by sharing information about the presented research
• To create a publishing environment for the scientist in order to examine and interact with the results of national and international reports, declarations, workshops, symposiums on land management,
• Real estate valuation in the world and Turkey, to deliver broadcast platform for the development and management of innovation studies,
• To create a common platform for sharing the studies prepared by using technological developments in order to make optimum decisions in the management of urban and rural areas,
• To publish studies on this platform that examine, analyze and interpret the results of the uses that add value to the land in order to produce healthy land policies,
• Turkey's economic development for sustainable land use should be in search of a way to make a more planned and scheduled. In this direction, providing the opportunity to publish the researches made by providing cooperation between public institutions and organizations, the private sector and universities, and to provide an environment for scientific activities.

The works that are suitable for one of the qualifications of theoretical and practical research, survey-examination, declaration, case study, short report and letter to the editor of Land Management are published after it is decided that it can be published from the referee evaluation. The work prepared in accordance with the rules of writing is sent to the referees for evaluation by the journal editor. There is a BLIND REFEREE application in the Journal of Land Management. The publication is decided by the Editorial Board and the Editorial Board in accordance with the opinion of the referees. The submitted articles are not refundable whether they are published or not. All responsibility of the articles published in our journal (scientific, professional, legal, ethical etc.) belongs to the authors. The copyright of the published articles belongs to the journal and cannot be transferred without reference. In order to establish scientific communication between the researchers, the articles whose qualifications are explained below, which are not published elsewhere, are accepted as Turkish, but the abstract should be published in English.

Research Article
Articles reflecting an original research with its findings and results.

Scanning Article
Review articles of sufficient number of scientific articles, summarize the subject at present level of knowledge and technology, make evaluations and interpret these findings by comparing them.

Short Paper
Articles describing a new method or technique explaining the important findings of a research.


Copyright Transfer of all articles is received by sending a form to the authors. Publications of authors who do not submit Copyright Transfer Form will not be processed. No add-ons can be made by the authors on the articles decided to be published.

Each article is sent to at least two referees related to the subject and examined in terms of form and content. After the manuscripts that can be published in the journal are arranged, they are sent to their authors and asked for review before printing. The responsibility of the errors that appear in the article as printed in the journal belongs to the authors. If the error is caused by the editorial office, the correction may be published.
