In this study, effects of gyttja and chemical fertilizer applications on growing media and pomologic and biochemical properties in pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) fruit were investigated. Four different doses of gyttja (G) (0, 1%, 2%, 4%) and (NH4)2SO4, TSP and K2SO4 fertilizers (N: 0, 100, 200, 300 ppm, P2O5: 0, 30, 60, 90 ppm and K2O: 0, 45, 90, 180 ppm) were applied into growing media. As a result, effects of the applications on fruit number, fruit weight, dry matter, vitamin C content (P<0.01) and fruit length (P<0.05) were found to be significant statistically. Similarly, effects of gyttja and chemical fertilizer applications on soil salinity and soil organic matter were significant (P<0.01). It was determined that the applications did not have a significant effect on fruit width and pH of growing media. When comparing gyttja with the chemical fertilizer applications, gyttja applications were less effective on pomologic and biochemical properties of pepper fruit, but it was most effective on organic matter content of growing media
Bu çalışmada, gidya ve kimyasal gübre uygulamalarının yetiştirme ortamı ile biber (Capsicum annuum L.) bitkisinde meyvelerin pomolojik ve biyokimyasal özelliklerine etkileri araştırılmıştır.
