Doğu Akdeniz Bölgesi zeytin bahçelerinde Zeytin fidantırtılı [Palpita unionalis (Hübn.) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae)]’nın predatör ve parazitoitlerinin belirlenmesi

Öz

Bu çalışma, 2008–2010 yılları arasında Doğu Akdeniz Bölgesi’nin Adana, Gaziantep, Hatay, Osmaniye, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis ve Mersin ili zeytin bahçelerinde yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada zeytinin önemli bir zararlısı olan Zeytin fidantırtılı [Palpita unionalis (Hübn.) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae)]’nın parazitoit ve predatör lerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, P. unionalis’in 9 adet parazitoit ve 21 adet predatörü olmak üzere toplam 30 adet faydalı türü saptanmıştır. Bunlardan Anthocoris nemoralis (Fabricius) (Hemiptera: Anthocoridae), Chrysoperla carnea (Stephens) (Neuroptera: Chrysophidae), Trichogramma evanescens Westwood (Hymenoptera: Trichogrammatidae) ve Apanteles brunnistigma Abdinbekova (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) türlerinin bölgede en yaygın bulunan önemli parazitoit ve predatör türleri oldukları belirlenmiĢtir. Bu çalışmada parazitoit A. brunnistigma’nın P. unionalis’de dünyada ilk kayıt olduğu rapor edilmiştir.

Determination of predators and parasitoids of Olive leaf moth [Palpita unionalis (Hübn.) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae)] in olive orchards in the eastern Mediterranean region of Turkey

Öz

This study was carried out in olive orchards in Adana, Gaziantep, Hatay, Osmaniye, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis and Mersin provinces of the eastern Mediterranean region between the years 2008-2010. In this study, it was aimed to determine parasitoid and predator species of Olive leaf moth [Palpita unionalis (Hübn.) (Lepidoptera:
Pyralidae)] which is an important olive pest. At the end of the study, totally 30 numbers beneficial species from 9 parasitoids and 21 predators of P. unionalis were determined. Among these predators, Anthocoris nemoralis (Fabricius) (Hemiptera: Anthocoridae) and Chrysoperla carnea (Stephens) (Neuroptera: Chrysophidae), as parasitoids of it; Trichogramma evanescens Westwood (Hymenoptera: Trichogrammatidae) and Apanteles brunnistigma Abdinbekova (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) were found as important predators and parasitoits. Here we report a new record for parasitoit A. brunnistigma on P. unionalis in the word.
