Tanı Alamamış Anal Atrezili Yedi Aylık Bebek

Abstract

Kabızlık, çocuk sağlığı ve hastalıkları ve çocuk cerrahi polikliniklerine sık başvuru nedenlerindendir. Sıklıkla etiyolojisinde fonksiyonel nedenler sorumlu tutulmaktadır. Ancak hastaların %5’inde metabolik ve anatomik nedenler tespit edilir. Anatomik nedenlerin başında anal stenoz, vestibuler anüs gibi anorektal malformasyonlar gelir. Anorektal malformasyonlar sıklıkla yenidoğan döneminde tanı almaktadır. Yazıda tanısı oldukça gecikmiş anorektal malformasyonlu hasta sunulmuştur.Hastamız yedi aylık erkek bebekti, kabızlık ve karında şişlik şikayeti ile getirildi. Yapılan fizik muayene sonucunda anokutanöz fistüllü anal atrezi tespit edildi. Hastada ek anomali tespit edilmedi. Cerrahi tedavi planlanıp mini-posterior sagital anorektoplasti uygulandı.Kabızlık toplumlar arasında farklılık göstermekle birlikte sık görülür. Kabızlık hastalarına dikkatli hikâye ve özenli fizik muayene ile doğru tanı ve tedavi uygulanabilir. Özellikle kabızlığın anatomik nedenleri sadece anal bölge muayenesi ile tespit edilebilir. Bu nedenle kabızlığı olan tüm çocukların anorektal bölge muayenesi rutin olarak yapılmalıdır.

Infant with Delayed Diagnosis of Anal Atresa

Abstract

Constipation is among the most common causes of referral to pediatrics and pediatric surgery outpatient clinics. Functional causes are often held responsible for the etiology. However, metabolic and anatomical causes are found in 5% of the patients. Major anatomical causes include anorectal malformations such as anal stenosis and vestibular anus. Anorectal malformations are often diagnosed during the neonatal period. We present our case with a rather delayed diagnosis of anorectal malformation.Our patient was a seven-month-old male baby, brought with a complaint of constipation and swelling in his abdomen. An anatomic esophageal anal atresia was detected as a result of the physical examination performed. No additional anomaly was detected in the patient. Surgical treatment was planned and mini- posterior sagittal anorectoplasty was performed.Constipation is common, with differences among societies. Proper diagnosis and treatment can be performed with a careful history and careful physical examination of constipated patients. In particular, the anatomical causes of constipation can only be detected with an anal area examination. Anorectal area examination should therefore be done routinely in all children who have constipation
