Ilımlı ve Orta Şiddette İdiyopatik Skolyozu Olan Adölesanlarda Postural Stabilitenin Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Amaç: Postural stabilite dik duruş ve aktiviteler sırasında,vücut oryantasyonunu ve dengesini düzenlemektedir. Adölesan idiyopatik skolyozda (AİS) gövde deformitesi ve asimetrisi nedeniyle postural stabilite etkilenebilmektedir. Çalışmanın amacı, eğri şiddeti ılımlı ve orta olan AİS’li bireylerde postural stabilitenin karşılaştırılmasıdır.Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışmaya yaşları 13-15 arasında değişen, sağ torasik sol lumbar eğriye sahip 30 birey alındı. 15 birey ılımlı eğri şiddetine (10-20º Cobb) sahipken; 15 birey orta eğri şiddetine (21-45º Cobb) sahipti. Postural stabilite, Bilgisayarlı Dinamik Posturografi Duyu Organizasyon testi ile değerlendirildi. İki farklı eğri şiddetine sahip grup arasındaki karşılaştırmalar, Mann Whitney U test istatistiği ile yapıldı.Bulgular: Ilımlı grupta torasik eğri şiddeti13.46±1.98º iken, lumbar eğri şiddeti11.8±6.18º idi. Orta şiddetteki eğri grubunda ise torasik eğri 30.6±10.0º ve lumbar eğri 28.1±7.6º idi.Orta şiddetteki eğri grubunda, gözler açık- kabin hareketli durum ile gözler açık-zemin ve kabin hareketli durumda, diğer gruba göre yüksek denge skorları elde edildi (p<0.05). Diğer durumlarda, gruplar arasında istatistiksel olarak fark gözlenmedi.Sonuç: Çalışmada, orta şiddette eğrisi olan AİS’li bireylerin, ılımlı şiddette eğrisi olanlara göre daha iyi denge reaksiyonları ile postural stabilite adaptasyonu gösterdiği bulundu.
