Tüberküloz Peritoniti: Bir Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Tüberküloz peritoniti nadiren akut batın tablosunu taklit edebilir. Karın ağrısı ve CA 125 yüksekliği; abdominal malignensiler ve obstrüksiyonlarda anlamlı olmakla birlikte bening durumlarda da olabilmektedir.Burada asid ve yükselmiş CA 125 düzeyi olan akut batın tablosunda gelip laparatomi yapılan ve patolojisi tüberküloz peritoniti ile uyumlu bulunan bir olgu sunuldu. Cerrahi materyalden PCR yöntemi ile aside direçli basil varlığı doğrulandı.Bu olguda biz anti-tüberküloz tedaviye yanıtın takibinde CA 125'in faydalı olabileceğini vurgulamak istedik.

TUBERCULOUS PERİTONİTİS: A CASE REPORT

Abstract

Tuberculous peritonitis is a rare event which can mimic advanced stage of acute abdomen. Abdominal pain and an elevated CA 125 is suggestive of an abdominal malignancy and obstruction; however, benign conditions may be discovered. A patient with an acute abdomene, ascites, and an elevated CA 125 underwent an exploratory laparotomy Final pathology revealed peritoneal tuberculosis without any pulmonary involvement. Acid-fast bacilli were confirmed with polymerase chain reaction in the surgical specimen. We also used CA 125 for monitoring the response to the anti-tuberculous treatment.
