Adrenokortikal Tümöre Bağlı Cushing Sendromu: Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Adrenokortikal tümörler (AKT) pediatrik yaş grubunda nadirdir. Çok sıklıkla görülmedikleri için patogenezleri, prognozları, ve tedavi yöntemleri hala net değildir. Adrenokortikal tümörlü çocuklar sıklıkla cushingoid semptomlar ve virilizasyon gibi endokrin bozukluk belirti ve bulguları gösterirler. Burada, bir aydır cushingoid semptomları olan ve adrenokortikal tümör saptanan ikiaylık bir kız çocuğu sunulmaktadır.

CUSHING'S SYNDROME CAUSED BY ADRENOKORTİKAL TUMOR: Case Report

Abstract

Adrenokortikal tumors (ACTs) are rare in the pediatric population. The pathogenesis, prognostic indicators, and manegement of these tumors are still unclear due to low prevalence. Most children with an ACT present with sign and syptoms of endocrine disturbances including cuhingoid symtoms and virilization. Here, we report a 2 month-old girl with cushingoid symptoms and diagnosed as adrenocortical tumor
