Year 2018, Volume: 12 Issue: 3, 215 - 217, 01.12.2018

Abstract

A Rarely Seen Dermatosis: Terra Firma-Forme Dermatosis

Year 2018, Volume: 12 Issue: 3, 215 - 217, 01.12.2018

Abstract

Terra firma-forme dermatosis (TFFD) is a keratinization disorder characterized by dirt-like brown hyperpigmented plaques. The diagnosis and treatment of this disease, the cause of which is not exactly known, is quite easy. The most important feature of the lesions that are mostly seen in the neck and body is that while they cannot be removed with water and soap, they can easily be removed with 70% isopropyl or ethyl alcohol. In this report, we present two pediatric cases diagnosed with TFFD
