İliak Kemik Hemanjiomu: Ewing Sarkomunu Taklit Eden Nadir Bir Olgu

Year 2015, Volume: 9 Issue: 4, 283 - 285, 01.12.2015

Abstract

Iliac Bone Hemangioma: A Rare Case Mimicking Ewing’s Sarcoma

Year 2015, Volume: 9 Issue: 4, 283 - 285, 01.12.2015

Abstract

Although cutaneous hemangiomas are encountered frequently in childhood, intraosseous hemangiomas are rare benign tumors. The radiological features are heterogeneous and can therefore sometimes be confused with aggressive malignant tumors. The clinical assessment should be made very carefully and properly because the treatment approach of malignant tumors are different from benign tumors, and the treatment should be initiated quickly. Herein we present an iliac bone hemangioma that was detected incidentally and was similar to Ewing’s sarcoma radiologically before pathology examination is presented
