Besin Allerjisi

Year 2013, Volume: 7 Issue: 4, 206 - 213, 01.12.2013

Abstract

Besin allerjileri besinlere karşı istenmeyen immün yanıttır. Besin allerjileri ciddi ve hayatı tehdit eden reaksiyonlara yol açabilmektedir. Görülme sıklığı giderek artmaktadır. Besin alerjisi tanısında dikkatli öykü esastır. Basit tanı testlerinin rolü kısıtlıdır. Allerji veya toleransı göstermede besin yükleme testleri kullanılabilir. Tedavide allerjik reaksiyona neden olan besinden uzaklaşmak esastır. Gıda alımına bağlı allerjik bir reaksiyon geliştiğinde, tanı konulması, uygun tedavi ve yaklaşımda bulunulması önemlidir.

Food Allergy

Year 2013, Volume: 7 Issue: 4, 206 - 213, 01.12.2013

Abstract

Food allergy is an adverse immune response to food. It can cause severe and potentially life-threatening reactions. The prevalence of food allergy is increasing. A careful history is essential in the diagnosis of food allergy. The role of simple diagnostic tests is limited. An oral food challenge test can be used to confirm food allergy or tolerance. Treatment relies on avoidance of the food that triggers the allergic reaction. Early diagnosis, and an appropriate treatment and approach are very important when an allergic reaction develops due to food intake
