Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Web of Science (WoS) veri tabanında “Türk dilleri” üzerine yapılan akademik yayınların bibliyometrik değişkeler açısından tetkik edilmesidir. Araştırmada, nitel bir yöntem kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın verileri, Clarivate Analytics şirketine ait Web of Science (WoS) veri tabanından çekilmiştir.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the academic publications on "Turkic languages" in the Web of Science (WoS) database in terms of bibliometric variables. A qualitative method was used in the research. The data of the study was drawn from the Web of Science (WoS) database of the Clarivate Analytics company. Detected data was analyzed and visualized through R Studio's Biblioshiny package. As a result, 50 studies published in the 1980-2022 time phase were evaluated. It was determined that 38 of these publications were articles, 6 were book chapters, 1 were editorial work and 5 were papers. It has been witnessed that the publications in question were produced by 59 researchers, 26 of these authors published their studies as a single author, and 29 of them prepared their studies with multiple authors.
